CALENDAR UPDATE!

Our September and October schedules have been added to the calendar page of the website. Also, over the past week or two, a few important shows have been added to our August calendar:

•  We are playing a set at the Inn in Long Beach (LI), NY, for a benefit for one of their bar backs, Basil, who was seriously injured in a car accident. The event starts at 3PM. Come out and support the cause, and stick around for our set at 6PM.

•  Scott and I are playing an acoustic show at Ri Ra Irish Pub at the Quarter at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City on Tuesday, 8/19. Show starts at 10:30PM

•  On 8/22, after playing at Friday Night Live in Herndon , VA , from 6:30-10:00PM, we head over to Ned Devine's and play two sets there from 11:30-1:30AM. Come to both shows!

•  Because Seacrets was cancelled on 7/22, they gave us a make-up date on Thursday, 8/28.

Drop Dead Sexy Journal Entry 4-20-2008
Smell that? It's summer and it's creepin' up quickly! I can see it now...a good day on the beach followed by dinner with some friends, perhaps a time or two around the boardwalks then cap it all of with a Drop Dead Sexy show. My liver is quivering with excitement! The past few weeks have been especially memorable for me and I feel as if DDS is gearing up for a great and awesome summer. The momentum is building and the sun is beaming so it's time get tan, get drunk and get sweaty with Drop Dead Sexy.

By no means do you have to wait until we play by the beach to check out the goings on. The beach is only my location of preference, I mean, if it's not yours I just plain don't trust you. Psyche....dag, I said psyche. Dag...I said dag. We all hope to see you at the shows no matter where it is It hasn't been said enough that we truly appreciate all the fun and more so all the friends and family we've made through this band. I am truly living a dream and I believe I can speak for all of us on that topic. Thank you to the growing Drop Dead Sexy entourage and very special thank you to all of our families for the support throughout the years.

Hey everybody!
We have a few important announcements regarding some recent (and significant) changes to our calendar:

1) Every Monday night (starting this Monday, 3/24), Justin will be hosting an acoustic open mic at the Wet Whistle Bar and Grill in Jenkintown, PA. The night starts at 9M. Come check it out!

2) Friday, 4/4, has been switched from Maddie’s to PJ Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill. Long story, but all is good, and for those of you who are wondering, we are back at Maddie’s in June (the 21st, to be exact), so stay tuned.

3) Along with our friends, the Juliano Brothers, and some other musicians, we are performing a short acoustic-style set at a benefit on Sunday, 4/13, at Ott’s on the Green in Sewell (Washington Twp.), NJ. There is a website, www.hopeformatthew.com, with more details on this good cause. Please check it out and do your best to make it to Ott’s.

4) Seacrets on 4/19 was cancelled! I know, it sucks. Please spread the word, especially so that people who may have had hotels can cancel them. If you have any problems with that, write me at paul@dropdeadsexy.com. Anyway, we don’t know yet why they cancelled, but Seacrets is has given us an extra summer date to make up for it. In any case, keep an eye on our calendar page to find out where we will be on 4/19.
